Me: (while filling up the kettle and talking about a friend) So she said she was eating chicken soup but it was too hot, so she tried to spit it back into the bowl but she couldn't really aim so she spat it out onto the table instead.
Mother: (laughs) What'd her mother say?
Me: Nah nothing, she said her mom just looked at her as if she was retarded.
[Hysterical laughter]
Me: (pours water out from kettle)
Mother: Eh what are you doing?
Me: Sorry lah, I overfilled it.
Mother: Looks like we have another retarded child.
