THE TOTALLY IMPORTANT POST AND SHIZZ.
YEA I'MMA LOOKING AT YOU SC GIRLS.
Okay so right, today we had a nice bout of briefing about the school rules, and since I know I have at least one or two (or three?) SC girls who will (or may) be reading this, I'm going to put them here so that you all know in advance. MAN, I SO AWESOME.
Anyway, here goes.
1) Latecoming - demerit points have been lowered to 2, and you don't have to do detention for every time you're late. Still no excuse for you to start showing up at 7.26 am or later ah!
2) Dress code:
i. Leadership badges (class rep, CCA leader, PSL etc.) has to be worn below the school badge.
ii. No more earsticks.
iii. All shirts have to be tucked in regardless of material, with/without collar, etc. You can't untuck them even if you have permission from your CCA teachers, and if you want untucked-ness you'll have to ask Ms Leong personally for permission.
3) Handphone usage - can be used at the canteen, foyer and outside the dance studio. Please keep it on silent mode at all times, as it ringing out loud is considered a bookable offence. Make sure that all the alarms are deactivated too, as you can be booked if your phone alarm goes off, even if it was switched off previously.
4) Electronic devices - they can be used at wherever you can use your handphones. Electronics + handphones must be switched off upon arrival in school. One nice little exception is the glorious MP3 player/iPod, which you can now utilize at the track! If you need musical motivation to run in the mornings you can bring them along with you and listen as you jog along. Just remember to switch it off when it's time for flagraising. (: [eh Nadhira if you're reading this we both go running in the mornings to Yamapi's MOLA. YES OR YES?]
5) Footwear - 100% white, as most of you probably know already. Do try to keep them as clean as you can, because dirty shoes are actually a bookable offence. Don't come with brownish grey footwear ah pls!
6) Actions taken - whoo, this is the scary part.
Okay, so when you get 6 demerit points you earn yourself your first detention, and 12 will get you your second one and will deny you the chance at any leadership positions. You'll be suspended once you hit 16, and if you still continue to earn yourself points you may get expelled. But of course none of you will lah right. :D I have faith in you guys!
