2009-01-03
run run run.
So the first day of school had the most hectic start I've ever had in my four years of secondary life (possibly because I woke up late), and I'm not too sure if that foreshadows anything (other than frantic mugging for O lvls alsdkfgh), but I'm glad at least I managed to catch the last Courtyard walk I'll probably ever get to see, even if it was less eventful than I thought it would be. I should've known though - I mean, it's just a bunch of 12/13-year-olds marching into an empty space. Still, for the nostalgia, it was something I couldn't miss.
I still keep forgetting that it's 2009 and I kind of cannot really totally believe that holy shizz I'm sec four, because it feels nothing like it. We're the seniors now, like for real face, but I still feel about the same way I did through my previous three years. It's all very surreal still, but I'm slowly getting over it. The same way I'm trying to get over the fact that I'll be sixteen in what, seven days? DUDE WHO WANTS TO SNEAK INTO NC-16 MOVIE WITH ME FIRST. CALL ME ASAP PLS.
If it's anything, I'm excited. I'm looking forward to so many things this year; I've got friendships to rekindle, poetry to write, stuff to learn, pictures to take, letters to send - and if the first day of school is any indication I should think that I probably am on the right path. I hope.
Wish me luck, and good luck to you too.
And yeah.
